UPDATE: I am out 
Unfortunately, I just ran the race and when I was done I realized that I had never started recording. UGGGH! It would not be fair for me to run it again. So, I will record a second attempt before this weekend, but it will not be for an official time.
Frustratingly, I had my best ever time on my first attempt (under 1:20 for sure, but not by much - Bakerbelle's 1:12 is safe for now). I was very lucky to dig down through a mineshaft into a ravine with enough gold, redstone, and iron to complete the underground requirements and get me to the nether. I hope others are as lucky!
