Very nice to see you on here, Vidargavia! I know Edd is away at the moment, so the December Base Race announcement may (or may not) be a little bit late. Keep watching for his announcement video!
You have to do December - because we all know Christmas is the time of screaming and running from the bad guys!!

Hi Vidargavia! So happy to see you here! (at last...lol) I'm sure you will enjoy the challenge of playing Base Race, it is definitely not like anything else in minecraft! If you are unsure of anything just ask...there is a help thread on here and when Edd gets back I'm sure he will send you an invite to the Base Race discord so you can chat with other players if you'd like, and ask any questions I'm really looking forward to watching your adventures! Thanks guys A discord would be most welcome, and yes, I may have questions later for sure... My plan for December is to incorporate the Baserace videos in my Advent calendar on youtube. Oh, and initially my plan was to record on the 2nd already, so any updates on the release are welcome |

I have just got home today, so will be working hard on the new Base Race. I don't know yet how long it will take, but obviously I want it to be a special one for Christmas, so I won't rush it. I'll keep everyone updated on the likely release time =]

It seems I am unable to join the discord via that link  It just times out if I try in the browser, and it just won't have it at all if I try in the desktop application. |

I hope I am correct about this ... but I think the link theWoodpecker posted will not work for you. You must use the link that Edd has sent you, before you are allowed in.
If that still doesn't work, let Edd know.
