Once upon a time, there was a little farm boy, who worked at chopping trees and tending animals. However, the village was always under threat from the venomous old woman who lived in the tower on the hill.
Jack - for that was his name, as is the name of all fairy tale farm boys - resolved to rid the village of the evil menace. First, he would have to prepare, and that led him on an underground search.

Jack had one fault above all others: he could never finish something that he started. So when he returned from his caving trip and went to the nether, he still hadn't collected everything that he should.

At long last, wearing his shimmery new armour and clutching an assortment of odd items pressed on him by his friends and neighbours, Jack ventured off to the tower.
Problems arose, ensued, were overcome ... and finally Jack emerged triumphant! But was it all too late?

Back home, with the Wicked Witch destroyed and all of her possessions in Jack's hands, he found a victory parade was waiting! But before he could join the celebrations, Mum Tiny told him he had to tidy his room and perform all of the household chores that had been waiting since he went away.
Finally, Jack could join the celebrations. But bitterness, from the way the townsfolk had treated him, was beginning to grow inside him. Now he was not so sure why he had helped them at all! Bunch of ingrates! And Jack Tiny retired into a tower, and began to read the Witch's old Book of Powerful Spells, with a disturbing level of interest .....
