I only seem to have syncing issues with game audio and the video with my Base Race series...the only difference I can see is that I am using Bat's mod and I think Forge? Cant' remember. I've used modpacks and not had any syncing issues (that I recall).
I use Bandicam for recording. Has anyone ever come across something like this before?
It was more prominent in single player, so I am playing November on a server and still seeing it, just not as bad.

I've never had syncing issues caused by Batty's Mod (he might have something to say on the matter, so we'll see), but I've had some audio desync in the past that I've had to deal with.
A couple of questions:
- How long do you record Base Race for in one session, and is that longer/shorter than other Minecraft recording sessions? - Do you use Bandicam to record your voice too?
As long as your voice is on a separate audio track to your game audio then you can fix the desync in editing. I always use something like Audacity for my voice, which means if the game audio slips out of sync, I can speed up or slow down the game audio to fit the video without adjusting my voice too =] Obviously it would be nicer to fix the desync issue altogether so you don't have to fix in editing. Maybe Batty can shed some light!

I can only say that Batty's mod is very light on processing and I've never seen it affect the gameplay speed or anything else being used for recording. Forge itself might be more of a culprit. I know it does require a little more memory to be given to Java compared to the vanilla versions of Minecraft. I did use to have desync problems on my old computer - but that happened whether I was using Mods or none, Forge or Vanilla. I was using Fraps, and eventually found that my problems went away when I used a more lightweight video recording app (I quite liked a free recorded that comes bundled in with MSI-predator). Finally upgrading my kit gave enough power and I was able to go back to Fraps.
But I can't really add anything to what Edd was saying (and asking).
I usually feel that desync can be traced back to a bottleneck in the system somewhere, not allowing enough data through fast enough - but the answer tends to be different for everyone, unfortunately.
